Talens, multiple patent holder and Award Winning company and Winner of the 2018 Laser Innovation Award - European Laser Institute, teamed up with sister company Macarbox to develop this incredible technology, specifically for the Corrugate Sector.
Not only can you cut out the blank in seconds, but using this technology, you can etch an image on the surface (as if printed) and even create "creases" by imaging certain patterns or carefully removing material to allow for folding. This does not weaken the outer. Box compression tests show, that our outers are actually stronger than those produced with traditional die cutting, as the board has not been crushed in the process. From this machine, it is possible, for instance, to have Shelf Ready Packaging (SRP) trays that are imaged /etched, with logo/branding/serial numbers/QR codes etc., but are not actually printed, this is bound to appeal, to many retailers, looking for more sustainable packaging.

Digital Printing
Developed within the Group, utilising XLogic's 20 years experience in digital printing and Macarbox's corrugate expertise. This Single Pass press is specifically designed for Corrugated Board and is suitable for food use, with water based inks.
Excellent print quality and production speeds of approx 700 s/h (1,000mm R) will make this an ideal choice.
